Losing a Zone on Four Clouds: Same 6-Second Freeze, Very Different Bills
I isolated one availability zone with firewall rules on identical K3s clusters at AWS, OVH, Scaleway, and Hetzner. The write freeze was the same 6-10 seconds everywhere; the bills ranged from 109 to 259 euros a month, and the real single point of failure was a single-replica DNS.
